It has become more clear to me, more than ever, that women struggle with self worth. Maybe it is more apparent to me, because I struggle with it myself, more than ever. Why are we as women, so hard on ourselves? Why do we compare ourselves to everyone around us? Why is it so hard to love what we see in the mirror? I have found an answer. One that I try to apply to my life on a daily basis, but I don't always succeed. It is a daily battle. But it is my passionate and firm belief, that if we, as women, do it together; it is much easier. Fitness is only part of feeling good about ourselves. There is more to it than just exercise. We must set small and simple, daily goals. Create baby-steps. Then we must realize that it is okay to celebrate our success at the end of the day.
This blog is for any and all who would like to join my boot-camp. This will be a place where they can read things that will be of help to them. A place to get health tips for the week and to know what to expect at their workouts, but more importantly this is a blog for women anywhere, to post comments and to read uplifting material that can help them know of their worth.
I am not a fitness queen, a fitness freak, or a fitness expert. I am in fact someone who has involved strength and conditioning in my life since I was 8 years old. Having a healthy body has always been a lifestyle I've tried to choose. I want to encourage anybody who wants to make healthier changes to their life, to come join me in a bootcamp, where we can become stronger, healthier, and fit together. ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog and am so glad that I did. I am actually your husbands cousin, one of the crew from Washington. I just read through every post and I have loved everything you have shared about fitness and health. It has been just the motivation I have been looking for! I wish I lived closer because I would totally do your bootcamp! :) Thanks for the motivation!
